That said, three places that Indy hasn't really been that seem really amiss: Sub-Saharan Africa, Australia and Russia. I can see him solving some kind of crazy ages-old Russian mystery that involves more familiar modern elements (Rasputin! Anastasia Romanov!) I think the big reason the Russians didn't seem authentic in this movie has something to do with the fact that they were hopping around the Amazon or the American desert the whole time. What is sad to me is that the new Indy GAME has a better artifact (the Staff of Kings, supposedly Moses' staff) than the movie did. Very sad indeed. I have high hopes for Indy V though!
